Mod to allow username change within first 30 days of membership
I have a membership site that automatically creates usernames for forum access in the form FirstnameLastname.
I can already anticipate that I'm going to get deluged with support requests "How can I change my username!" Its already happened in my beta testing of limited numbers of users. Does a mod exist that will allow a user to change their own username (and checks to see if it already exists)? I'm not too picky at this point, but if it had the ability to only allow this change within the first 30 days of membership that would be even better. TIA! ~ scott |

This is one of those times where search would have helped.

OK oldschooldsl. I guess I deserved that, being my first day of school and all.
I do appreciate the quick help :-) ~ scott --------------- Added [DATE]1299716319[/DATE] at [TIME]1299716319[/TIME] --------------- Downloaded and installed. Thanks OldSchool! I can't find anything in the readme.txt to point me to the location of the settings interface where I can configure the requirements. For example, to only allow username changes in the first 30 days. Any ideas? |

It says in the first post: AdminCP>usergroup permissions.
I see nothing in the mod that would cut off this ability at 30 days, it only says it can cut off after x uses. |
