How do you keep track of members?
If you are looking for suspious actvity, then how do you keep track
of your members? Is there some type of mod that I can install to keep track of what members are doing, notes on members, etc? I notice that vb does not seem to gather info on any one place. I was looking up a members IP, and was surprised to find out that there was nothing related in the members account concerning this IP the member was using... so how are you guys keep member info in check, and maybe even cross refererenced with other accounts that could very well be spammers, duplicate accounts, etc... Is there any helpful mods out? |

usually members are not a problem, spammer's are , if its a legitimate user you can get a feel for the posts they leave, you can ban their accounts and ip of course if they do something that wrong. Why worry about it, assign some mods to watch category's. if its that big of a problem. Spam on the other hand will come as phony accounts that sign up never post, and when they do its a link, and they spam with signature.s as back links.
the spam has mods to deal with them in mod downloads, you should just go look at every single mod . there is so many I don't have time to tell you about them all, then ask in that mods section about if they work or whatever |
