Image Thumbnail within post
I recently moved servers from Dreamhost to a CentOS machine and am no longer able to post images that have thumbnails as part of the post. I would love to know how to post the photos inline as part of the post and not just a link to the image, and for the attachments to have a thumbnail like I used to be able to. IF someone could help me out with that, I would really appreciate it. I tried searching, but searching for "image thumbnails" and such yielded too much.

Is it just the thumbnails that are having trouble showing up or is it attachements too? I would say check permission on your attachements dir, it needs to be writeable. I'm not sure if the thumbnail is actually generated, but I believe it is. If that is the case make sure you have imagemagick installed and that your settings properly identify it's install location.

check to see what you have set up at AdminCP > Settings > Options > image settings > image processing library and make sure that is valid and working

Lynne, Image processing is enabled with Imagemagic, the attachments show up, but only as if they were word docs as a list of files.

Then check all your settings in AdminCP > Settings > Options > Message Attachment Options Perhaps you have them set to show inline.

Not sure if its the same thing
but I was only getting the URL option and not both the upload file or url when clicking the INSERT IMAGE ICON. I had every else enabled, profiles settings, other Enhanced options but it still didn't work until I set the following ADMINCP options Message Posting Interface Options Enable Clickable Message Formatting Controls Set everything to "Enable Standard and WSIWYG" |
