Timezone for registered user

Hi there,
at the register.php i hide the fiel for the timezone. Now the problem is that the user get the wrong Time-Zone.

Has anyone an idea how i can set the default timezone for new registered users ?

First thing that comes to mind is to add a hidden field to your registration form that contains the default timezone. Although last I checked, the default timezone for new registrations is the timezone that the server uses.

Unless I'm completely misunderstanding the intent here.

Nono you are totally right !

I was blind like a year you know. I now have edited the template "register" and added the big lines

<div style="display:none">{vb:raw timezoneoptions}</div>
