Id like to place a .png next to my advanced search link in my navbar. Id like it to change to a different png when i hover over it. How do I go about adding such a button to my navbar?

Ive attached a picture to show where The button should be located...

it is just a button I want to place by the advanced search that will link to a different website. I also want it to have a hover code to flip to a different button when hovered over.
