Disable users ability to create blog entries
How would I do this? Basically the only people I want to be able to create a blog entry are administrators. I'm sure this is really basic but I'm a noob so please take pity on me

AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > *Now click to Edit the usergroup, now scroll down and find:
Blog Entry Permissions Edit the options accordingly . |

That is very helpful, thank you! One last question... How do I altogether remove the "create new post" button at the top of the blog page?

I would like to know the same thing. I do not want members to have the ability to have their own blogs - just the Administrator (me). And I'd like to remove the buttons that let them think they CAN have a blog.

Any option for this? I would like to only allow the blog options to certain usergroups.
I see how I can disallow blog posting or comments but it would be nice to be able to have all of the blog options not visible to specified groups. |

Found this thread via google search, it is just crazy people think if you dont want guests to blog that its fine to leave the "Create Blog" button there.
Ill see if I can get rid of it and ill post the edit here soon |

If you look at the button, it is a direct link to your registration form, that's why it is there.
