How do I replace "No Thread specified" with 301 Redirect

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to replace the "No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" alert with a 301 redirect.

I've tried mocking around (functions.php,showthread.php), but my script causes database errors.
