Can someone update this mod?

I found a mod that would be a top feature of my site if only it worked with my version which is 4.1.0.
It is a mod that allows members to change their username like this:
SiteName.com/Username

have you tried the template modifications yet in this version ?

The code for that mod is not marked as reusable. This means nobody may update that actual mod and share it. Someone may write a similar mod completely from scratch and share it though.
