How do I do this in vBulletin?

hello

please see following image. there i place a read box around text "PM". It is being shown as Private Message. I have seen other words on many vBulletin forums like PR for Page Rank. How can I set them?

is that your board are you trying to make yours do that?

If so that's an auto link when you click it or in some cases mouse over it it will show an ad or link to a specific place. if so its a mod

Thank you! Its alike the mod I want but NOT the same. Is anyone know about the ONE I mentioned? The ONE I'm looking is just to show Exact Phrases for specified abbreviations. FOR EXAMPLE, if PM is specified as Privated Message, then when any member will hover his mouse pointer on PM written in any post, he will see a box which mentions that PM stands for Private Message as shown in the image in my first post.

I hope someone know about such mod. Maybe this is the builtin function in vBulletin but I am unable to find it.

yea maybe there is also a professional mod that you pay for i have never used it

I dont think so.

I have specified PR as Page Rank at my forum. I did this a long ago in vB3. I dont remember installing any mod for this purpose and there is no such mod installed right now in my v4 forum but PR shows Page Rank, thats why I am thinking that vB has this function by default, but I am unable to find it in admin panel options.

If this is a mod then its free. I am sure because I havent ever purchased any mod.

As far as I know its a mod, I have no idea if that's your board or someone else, if its not yours is it even 4.1.1. Looks like some version over 4.0.0 but I have seen the mod for 3.8 versions that are mouse over J/S ads, I have run the version i posted and it does what your showing when mouse over it also links to a specific web page if you actually click the link. so what is your problem. just because it was in 3.8 doesnt mean its in vb 4.1.1, good luck with that problem

To do what you have asked you need to have vBSEO.
That is one of the features of that paid modification software we do not speak about premium/paid modifications on this board.

But get you $150USD ready and go get vBSEO that is definately the modification you need as I have it on my site.

I also think, personally, you owe the your24hourstore an apology for speaking to them like they are an idiot for trying to help you when overall they were right anyway.

no biggie, I don't use vbseo , but there you go glad merk_aus knew how to help you
