Best way to get this mod ?

I would like to do the following, please say to me which is the best (or one of) way to achieve it, in your opinion.

I would like to have page like this

http://www.mydomain.com/berlin.html

this being a rewrited CMS section page including:

a. A static text and image on the top;
b. A widget on the right side calling last post from "Berlin" sub-forum only;
c. A widget on the right side calling just for last entries blog from "Berlin" category (blog category).

Those being all individual widgets ("Berlin-last-blog-entries", "Berlin-last-subforum-post", etc.), I would need something like 400-500 widgets, is there an alternative manner to get it ?

Would be better creating my own vBulletin pages for each city (Berlin, Rome, Praga, etc.) as shown here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=228112 ?

Why would you need 400-500 widgets? Can't you just have a php widget and based on what page you are on (berlin, rome, etc) then it would call last post (or blog entries) from forum x, y, or z.

That would be great, just I am illiterate in PHP, do not know which PHP code should I use in order to achieve what you say. I would appreciate an example, or a path, for me to look for or googleling a solution.

I would start by looking at the existing widgets in the vB4 mods area and seeing how they are coded and if one would do what you want. If you are unable to do any php coding on your own, then I would suggest you look into hiring someone to do this for you.

Have been searching all around this forum during last hours, did not find anything similar to what I am looking for.

I mean, I found out many interesting widgets, like this one Latest Articles In Section

Those widgtes are calling not specific articles, me I would like to call just specific subform this being automatically done from each CMS section page, I mean: mydomain.com/rome.html is calling last post from “Rome” subforum, mydomain.com/paris.html is calling last post from “Paris” subforum, etc. etc., this being achieved by one widget template as Lynne said (not creating 400 templates as in my original idea).

I have learnt how to create a new widget template, I would be able to style them, just do not know which PHP using.

?Any path about the PHP code I would need?
