URL bbcode
Ok... I did a ton of searching... and I am sure the answer is out there... I just haven't found it yet.
I am running VB 4.1 PL2. The default bbcode for links just brings up a box to input a link. That is it. No option for a title (in place of the link in the post). Does anyone know of a mod that will replace the default pop-up for the link bbcode that will give users an option for masking a title to the link? Example... rather than the post showing a "http://thisurl.com/", the post will show a "webpage" and the "webpage" be a hyperlink. Thanks in advance. I know this is probably simple... but with so many bbcodes out there, I am thumbing through pages of info that isn't answering my issue. |

I think you just need to type "webpage", select it, then press the link button and enter the url.

Well... Thank you. I didn't know that.

One other thing that I didn't know even after being a forum user for a long time - there's an 'A/A' button in the upper right corner that toggles WYSIWYG mode, so if you've already inserted a link you can toggle the mode and change what's between the .. tags.
