Articles posting in Forums
Question:
How can I get my entire article to post in the forum? Issue: Currently when I make a new front page Article, it creates a forum thread, however it only gives a link to the article on the front page. My goal is to post an article, and then have a thread created with all the data, images & video's that was written in the article for discussion. I know that users can respond to the articles on the front page, but I am not fond of that am have been looking for a way to disable that and just have posts in the forums to discuss. |

Why don't you post the material in the forum in the first place, and then just "announce" it in the CMS? I think there is a problem with SEO if you duplicate all the same information in two places.

ty Lynne, I'm trying it out now.
@ mccollin: All you get when you make something an Article is a link, I was attempting to have the entire Article posted in the forums. Lynne's addon does that. |
