Lynne, while that may be the case in theory, I'm currently waiting for a mod to be updated for 4.1 that works in 4.0... so the question is valid.
Well of course however not to a point where it requires a completely separate forum area... this may or may not come about simply saying as it stands now there's no need for this with the few that require updating to work on 4.1 when 99% work fine on 4.0 or 4.1.

Yup.. Also in some plugin, you need to change the mod xml , saying maxver 4.0.x to 4.1
You may find maxversion code line in the first 15 lines.
