How would I show open Issue number for Subforums

I'm using the VSa Sub forum manager and for the subforms when loading forums.php overvew it shows them as

"Ask a Gameplay Question (7/55)"

However the Projects look out of place as there isn't a post count (or any indication that a new issue has been posted as the icons staying the same)

How would I include the count of the bugs on forums.php just like the threads and posts are shown.

When I click on the subforum the display there shows

"Bugs: 6 / 12"

so those figures can be obtained but I copied the template information ({vb:raw type.issuecountactive} / {vb:raw type.issuecount}) and pasted it into the subforum template but all it shows is

/

basically it seems on forum.php it won't pull the information.

Anyone know how I could sort this

The icon on the left must change if you don't have some unread issue notes. It isn't your case?

Nope the icon stays as the "No New posts" one no matter if a new item has been added to that project or not
