Email Mod for vBulltein 4.x

Is there a mod via which users can respond to threads via Email?
Or use email to create new posts?

Found a mod called "Email Integration" - but this is only for 3.x

Please let me know if there is one for 4.x

I believe this is something which should be part of vBulletin core - in the age where one can respond to a communication by multitude of means (sms/email etc)

Some of those older mods still work fine with vb4 - you have to read the thread to see.

Personally I don't like the idea because then some people would never visit the site.

The cool thing about this, which I have always wanted, was a way to create a thread using an iPhone - so I could take a picture or video, email into the forum to create a new thread. This would be handy for field reporting of an event.

But if you have a smartphone, you can do all that without using email.

yes - I can upload the image, create a new post, then point to an URL for the image... But that is easily 5+ min. on a cell connection and many steps longer than just emailing into the forum to create a new thread with an image.
