image captions

Does anyone know how to add a caption to images inserted into a CMS article. I would like to avoid having to put the pictures in a table to do this since their tables still seem to do weird things. An example caption would be like "Figure 1" and in the text I could refer the readers to see figure 1.

I currently use this in the style block of the image settings:
