Fastest way to clean vbulletin email list
Hello guys, I am using sendgrid to send out emails. They provide us with a list of bounces in real-time. How do I use that list of bounced emails so that vbulletin never tries to send them an email again?
Or is there a manual way to get this done? Say I have a list of bounced email IDs. Is there a way I can just unsubscribe those people from the forum? Thanks |

Bumping this up. If I have a list of email IDs that have bounced, say a few thousand of them - what is the fastest way of unsubscribing all their notifications?

AFAIK there is no way to do that unless you write a custom script for that. You'd want to unsubscribe members from all possible subscriptions, deactivate their account and send them a PM explaining what they need to do.
Also: if sendgrid does not differentiate between bounce rules, then you will be deactivating the accounts of users that only had their inbox full for a moment or users that have no problem at all, but their provider sends bounces too quickly. |
