Possible Mod ?

I have not seen a mod that does what i want and just looking to see if anyone knows if it is possible

Can a mod be made so that when an event in the calendar is up, It pulls the title and posting and posts it as a normal thread to a specified forum id ?

I know they have it for the birthdays and could this be edited to use as i want ?

Cheers in advance and if any of you could do this, Please PM me or i shall stick a thread in the mod request area after i know if it can be done
