What is the best and safest ?
Hi,
Can some one please , advise me on the best way to have an email address for the VB admin , the free one from hotmail or the one from the hosting company and why ? Thanks |

I always make the admin and tech support emails at the same domain as the forum, it just looks better IMO to be emailing the admin at the same domain I'm talking about. For tech emails (like database errors) there can sometimes be thousands of them generated in a short time, I'd never want to send them to an external email if I could help it.

IMO = In My Opinion... sometimes you'll also see IMHO = In My Humble (or Honest) Opinion
and yes, I'd say keep it on the same host. If you want you can usually set your host email to also forward to another e-mail address if you're afraid you'll forget to check the new email address regularly. |
