db problem after mod installation
I'm not sure what mod it was that caused this, as i was running fine for a while, but i get this db error now
Database error in vBulletin 4.0.8: Invalid SQL: SELECT * FROM dl2_files ORDER BY dateadded DESC LIMIT; MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 Error Number : 1064 Request Date : Saturday, November 13th 2010 @ 06:14:11 PM Error Date : Saturday, November 13th 2010 @ 06:14:11 PM Script : http://www.sidewaysfive.net/forums/ Referrer : http://www.sidewaysfive.net/forums/ IP Address : 67.41.139.211 Username : nommo Classname : vB_Database MySQL Version : 5.0.45 i've uninstalled every mod, but still get this error. any suggestions on how to go about fixing this? --------------- Added [DATE]1289706662[/DATE] at [TIME]1289706662[/TIME] --------------- update: SO i cleaned up a ton of stuff, i'm a bad admin. I had a lot of left over stuff from years of an ongoing vb installation that the ugprade to vb4 exposed good thing, my 'office' is clean, and i've got everything working correctly. Except for the content.php page. It still throws this DB error as stated above. any thoughts? thanks Michael |

dl2 - downloads 2 perhaps? or one of the modifications associated with it?

It was the downloads 2 mod. I removed it, cleaned out to a base vb installation, checked file by file, and still get the error. I've pm'd the author and posted on the mod thread and haven't heard back.
super stumped. I've since re-added the stuff i needed for the forums to work, just content.php fails. i've added a redirect in content.php so the site doesnt look dumb until i can get this sorted out. hopefully will figure it out soon... |

There are several associated mods to the downloads2 mod. Check to see if you installed one of them and they are the cause of the problem.
