Limit content for unregistered users

I would like for unregistered users to see the titles and preview of articles, but need to register in order to see the entire article . When I altered the Permissions in Admin CP under vBulletin CMS to restrict reading of articles to registered users, the Articles section didn't even show up in the Nav bar anymore when I wasn't logged in. Is it possible to just restrict reading the "full article" to registered users?
