Discreet chatbox

Are there any chatboxes like the IPB chat facility that a user must press a tab to enter? It's only my nightowl users that go into chat so I'm looking for one that isn't obtrusive.

I seem to recall there was one (premium mod) similar to Facebook's - but forget the name:-)
