Help with Facebook button in Profile / postbit
I've asked this question so many places, and can't seem to find an answer for it. If anyone knows the answer, you'd be my hero.
I find it odd that our members can't link their social networks in their profiles / postbit the same way they can do it with instant messengers. I'm trying to figure out a way to allow my members this ability. Is this a feature that will be implemented soon in vbulletin, or do I have to custom code it somehow? I'm not a programmer, and understand just very basic elements of PHP. So I could use some assistance if anyone is willing to help. I have setup a User Profile Field where I've allowed members to enter their facebook URL. (I've only added facebook for now, since I can't even get that to work) I tried posting THIS following code in the POSTBIT template in hopes to get that link in their postbit. HTML Code:
<!-- Facebook start --> <vb:if condition="$post['field6']"><a href="http://{vb:raw post.field6}" target="_blank"> <img src="images/misc/facebook_icon.png" alt="Go to {vb:raw post.username}'s Facebook page" border="0"></a> </vb:if> <!-- Facebook end --> HTML Code:
{vb:raw post.icqicon} {vb:raw post.aimicon} {vb:raw post.msnicon} {vb:raw post.yahooicon} {vb:raw post.skypeicon} . |
