Inserting HTML above Thread list

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a board (or sub-forum?) within my forum that contains threads about a specific topic.

I'd like to add some more information about that topic (possibly with images/sound/video) above the thread list in that board.

I thought I could do this with a Notifications, but the user has to click the link to view the html and this takes them away from the thread list.

Is there a way to do this?
