How do I set Postbit_legacy as the default ?

What are the main differences between the two other than preferences ?

vboptions > Style & Language Settings > Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template > Yes

postbit has user info on top, postbit_legacy has it on the side.

I wonder how difficult can it be to incoporate this option in vBulletin's application
