Creating Articles and editing images Browser Issues..
I'm trying to get to grips with the article creating in preparation for getting the site live. I'm having some serious issues with adding images and trying to understand the best way of adding images and how to manipulate them for previews, size, text wrapping, aligning and so forth.
I can't find anything in the online manual about this so I am presuming the manual is out of date. If I try to create an article in google chrome, adding any images just shows in the article after adding as something like [ attach ]image [ /attach ]. I can't seem to see in chrome how I wrap text, position the image or that sort of thing. If I try using IE8, I see the image but when I try to change it's size it doesn't let me. Also the image is tiny. Again, I can't find a way to see the text wrapping options either. If I try using firefox, I can see the images, I can edit the size but that has little relevance to the size when I preview the document. Again, I can't find a way to see the text wrapping options either. Could someone tell me the best way to create articles and be able to set the article how I want with image positioning, size and text wrapping? Thanks in advance. |

Is it really that badly made? I've used things like wordpress for years and using images in that has been so versatile for years and incredibly easy to do. This is a nightmare in comparison. Please tell me that I can get it working....
--------------- Added [DATE]1284200489[/DATE] at [TIME]1284200489[/TIME] --------------- I've looked in the manuals and I can't see any help anywhere for article creation and image manipulation in there. Also can't see anything about the best browser to use for editing articles to make the above work. HELP! |

I'm desperately trying to write articles and include images but as I can't see how to edit the size or find how to get the wrap options, I'm stuck.
What browser does all this or am I just missing something? |

Else, you can use this code.. Code:
[att ach]1023[/att tach] As for options, in preview mode, hover over the image, and on the top left, you'll see the icon that can be clicked to edit the image.. I'd also suggest you use Firefox to do this.. I've seen it work best with FF.. Good luck!! |

Thanks very much. I have updated it and it does show some options. Why does the manual not discuss article creation and editing?
Also why has vbulletin not addressed this issue in different browsers? |
