need some help with customize my site

Could someone show me how to make these changes
1. I just changed my template to fixed width instead of fluid, but now it's aligned to the left. How do I update it so it's aligned center. My website is Childcare.us
2. On the forum page http://childcare.us/forum.php, how to I add/update the title so it says "Childcare.us - Child Care Forum", instead of just "Childcare.us".

To center any div use the following css code:

margin: 0 auto;

Can you be a little more specific? Do I need to update a certain stylevar? I want to center the whole page.

I don't think the body margin is a stylevar so you'll need to use css to center the body.

Add to additional.css

body { margin:0 auto; }

How do I update additional.css? Sorry I'm pretty new to this tool.

I see additional.css definition under Style Manager -> Main.css. However, I cannot update it. It's saying "This CSS file is obsolete and is available here for reference purposes only.".

Is there another place I can update?

Admin CP -> Styles and Settings -> On the dropdown box of the style you wish to edit select edit templates -> CSS Templates -> additional.css

Add the code to that template.

Can you help me with question #2 as well ? I try to update the Forum Name under "Site Name/URL/Contact Us" section, but that changed on all pages. I just want to change the title on http://childcare.us/forum.php.

All depends on exactly what you're trying to change.

Checked my uploaded image. Red square is an image and can only be edited through a image manipulation program.

Green square is controlled by the Site Name option.

If you want to just change the title in the green square, you can do so by editing the forumhome template.

Actually what I want to change is the header title (in html title tag) that display on the browser. Currently it says Childcare.us - Mozilla Firefox (or other browser type). I want it to to say Childcare Forum - Childcare.us.
