Is this Possible in V4

I want to be able to accept new members for free, but instead of them having a signature I want to have my own text where their signature so I can advertise my main site

then

if they pay a subscription they get automatically moved to a new usergroup which then they can have their own text in their signatures

For starters, you can set Registerd Usergroup - No permissions to post signature, and your custom usergroup(paid) set to have custom signatures.

As for having your own signatures, you can edit the postbit template and add a conditional to show your sign if the usergroup is "registered"

There is also a mod now for 4.... that allows you to show Sigs on certain usergroups by default.So you can load your own and make them show on all groups you need!
