Perhaps am being thick, probably am but where exactly do you upload the contents of the upload folder is it to the root of your forum and replace existing files?

If you want people to access your site at www.yoursite.com, then upload the files to the root of your forum. If you want them to access your stie at www.yoursite.com/forums, then you would upload your files to a directory called /forums

Hi Lynne
Thanks for the quick response what i mean is do i simply upload the files to replace the existing files on the server, i understand about /forum etc. I was not sure if you upload the upload folder to a sub folder then the script looks for that or you simply overwrite you current files. |

Simple download the update, unzip it, then upload the contents of the 'upload' folder and overwrite any existing files with the same name

Also, don't forget to run the upgrade.php file (www.yoursite.com/install/upgrade.php I think).
