Creating a PM via script
Hello,
I want to send specific users a automated PM outside of vbulletin, but my problem is that I am not sure how to do this. I checked the vbulletin tables and there are 3 tables that seem to be connected to the whole PM story... But I dont get the point on which SQL Inserts I should do to send a "working" PM to a selected user... Can somebody pls enlighten me ? Kindly Regards rmd |

You need to use the built in Data Manager class, there is a specific one for private messages. I believe Andreas published an article on the subject when 3.5 was first released.
Edit: Here is the article: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=82786 You may have to adjust the code a little bit to your version of vB |
