Banned reason.

I've been looking around a little, maybe in not looking hard enough but Ive been making my "you are banned" reason, and i was wondering if there is a variable or something i could use to show people the reason they are banned? my page looks like this,

When you are banned, you get a screen like that anyway. You get shown a phrase like this:

You have been banned for the following reason:
This is the reason right here!

Date the ban will be lifted: 09-05-2010, 11:00 AM

If you look up the phrase, you'll see it's called nopermission_banned and if you do a search in the files for it, you can see the variable used is $reason['reason']
