We all know refreshing countless of times can have a really bad effect on your server, is there anyway to stop refresh spamming?

The timer that checks for when they last sent a PM message could be used maybe... I mean to say that VB does keep track of a time, perhaps the cronimage? Based on that you could make the page show a message and a timeout.
