Conditional For Article Viewing and Section Viewing

I have applied some custom styling to my articles in the CMS. The problem is that this custom styling does not look so hot in the category/section views. I am curious if there are "vb:if" conditionals that I can use to not apply the styling to category/section views but only the main article view?
