End-User Options - Notepad for user settings page

This is a simple user notepad, to store short texsts on "settings" page. It's collapseable and has autosave feature, like google docs.

If you used antialiasis's "Personal Notepad" mod for 3.7 - this one provides similar functions for 4.0, and automatically migrates data. I'm not shure, that "settings" location is now the best place for notepad. So, reasonable suggestions will be considered.

does not work for me when I leave I keep the note the note cp user is lost I can not see again , uninstalled the mod thanks anyway

I don't understand your question. This mod store textbox area. It's not used to replace a full-featured GTD tool.

What for? Many useless settings = bad idea.
Notepad size is limited to 50000 bytes. That's enougth.

Can this be set to private so it can be used as a scratch pad for ideas on writing articles for he front page of the VBCMS?

The install did not import saved text from the 3.7 Personal Notepad mod by antialiasis. Any ideas why? What did I do wrong?

You did nothing wrong. It was error in convertor code, sorry. If you still have Personal Notepad installed - uninstall my product and install again atttached one.

Or run such query (if no table db prefixes):

UPDATE usertextfield SET rcd_notepad = notepad
