how to have color picker on my site that changes css?

I have a fairly high contrast site and want to offer a lower contrast and dark theme. I know this can be done with child styles and a chooser but this seems overkill. I am wondering if it is possible or a mod exists that simply flicks between different css sheets? I'm a bit clueless here. Thanks!
