I would search for this if I knew what to call it.

I want to know how to have the new threads and new posts show up on the right hand side of the main forum screen in the little boxes.

Here is an example:

its new posts in sideblock but that page is heavily modified

you must enable the Forum Sidebar.
goto admincp/Forums & Moderators/forumblocksmanager
then make a new block that shows new posts

That is all I wanted, I know that page was heavily modified but when you start looking for an example you can never find anything.
