So you're saying your vbulletin is auto changing URL's to all lowercase letters? That's weird, there is no option I know of to even do that in vbulletin. I would look into your php setup, this may be a question for your web host if on shared hosting.

hi
I'm not in a shared hosting, I have an housing service. note the first link in the first message in this thread: http://www.sonicbands.it/cinema/1054...-gratuite.html it look like VB lowercase all the urls when rendering the page, because editing the message all chars are correct as they was inserted...

Is it possible the lowercase change is happening only when importing posts from usenet? Did you try posting yourself with UPPERCASE? Either way I would look into your php config to see if there is some setting in there.

It's nothing to do with lowercase as the second link in that post works ok.
The first link looks like it is truncated. The end is missing "sub=" and no value. Are you sure you copied it correctly before putting it in the post? |

the second link is "native" lowercase
I tried to post the same link in a non USENET forum with same result maybe some plugin (i just use VBSEO) or something in my .htaccess? |

It wouldn't be htaccesss... it might very well be VBSEO, re-formatting URL's sounds like something right up their alley, but I don't have it so I wouldn't know where to look, I'd imagine in the options someplace. Maybe post this on their site since it's pretty likely VBSEO is the cause.

Yeah there is because http://domain.com/afgTEVD.html is treated different than http://domain.com/afDteVd.html on many server setups.
