Primary & Secondary Usergroup permissions

Only reason I'm asking is because when you're setting up FB connect you can specify a secondary usergroup to be assigned. I have created a usergroup called FB funnily enough, however I don't want this usergroup to have any other permissions than what they already have in their primary group.

Is their an option that I can set for my FB group that they just keep their primary permissions?
