Going branding-free after purchase?
Hello -
I purchased the vBulletin Publishing Suite licence, and at the time of purchase, I didn't pay extra to remove the vBulletin copyright from the footer. We've been customising the forums and blog to our own purposes now, and for design reasons I've started to regret I didn't pay that little extra. Is it possible to upgrade my already-bought licence to the branding-free option at this point? And if so, would we have to download the software all over again, or could we go on using the one we have - with the customisations already in place - and simply remove the branding information from the footer after we've paid for it? Many thanks, Leena |

Hi, I finally bought my branding-free option which I wanted to do for years. But now, searching through threads, I got a little bit confused on how to proceed. Is there a guideline of what I am allowed to remove/replace? Or any examples of e.g. footers with validated branding-free content? I dont want to do any changes and pay all that money and wake up in the morning to find out I did something wrong and be in trouble ;-.
Thanks a lot |

Questions regarding licenses and default vBulletin product are best asked at the official company website vbulletin.com.
But to answer your question: you will be able to download the product with branding already removed, and also instructions to remove it on an existing installation. |
