This should be in the forum discussions section/ programming help not put as a modification. Have reported hopefully it will be moved.

For your information they are modifications added to their site that are available here.

Right, you can easily add something like that using the sidebar. Unfortunately, no instructions exist in the manual explaining how to enable the forum sidebar or how to make forum blocks for it. You're going to have to read around and do some searching at vb.com and teach yourself.
