Template mod Help needed

I have edited the default theme and I have removed the spacer_open spacer_close tags from it.

The problem I have is either the postbit or showthread is using the page backgrounds - background image to go behind each post, this is causing the posts to be off centre and overflowing out of the fixed width.

I am enquirying how to edit the class/id of the background image so it doesnt call the page background class.

Removing the page background image removes the image but this isnt a fix I want.

Any help would be great link to the area also here is an example.
