Help with Flash
Hello,
I purchased a small program that makes Flash Banners. Once you create the banner, it gives you a .swf file and some html that is supposed to be posted at the location where you want the banner. I created banner and loaded in in the main forum folder. I then took the html and pasted it into the signature editor and saved it. I have html enabled for myself (admin). I thought that would work but it doesn't. I could sure use some help ! |

Thanks for the quick responses, guys.
I should add that I use this same banner under "advertising" in the CP and it works fine. The .swf file is in the main forum directory. Here is the HTML that I have: <OBJECT classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0" WIDTH="468" HEIGHT="60" id="BMPF-wasabanner.swf"> <PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="wasabanner.swf"> <PARAM NAME=quality VALUE="high"> <PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF> <PARAM NAME=wmode VALUE=transparent> <EMBED src="wasabanner.swf" quality="high" bgcolor=#FFFFFF WIDTH="468" HEIGHT="60" NAME="BMPF-wasabanner.swf" ALIGN="" TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" WMODE="transparent" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"> </EMBED> </OBJECT> <!-- The following line is only needed once in the html after the last </OBJECT> --> <script type="text/javascript" src="iefix.js"></script> |

Well, I did it. I added that line to the end of the headerincludes. I added the html to the signature editor and clicked save. I ended up with blanks in the previews. The blanks are adding up (three now for the three times I tried to do it.
Now I don't know how to get rid of the blank previews. |

Thanks much. I just sent it.
I now have accumulated four rectangular boxes in the top preview part of the sig section of the cp. How do I get rid of that ? It's the result of me trying to save the html in the editor. Can I erase those blanks somehow? I've already tried purging the sig cache. Thanks again. |

If you mean the "headinclude", I did that. It is reverted. Just double checked.
