How do I include vbulletin pages onto my main website
Hello,
I have a vbulletin forum and I'd like to include some vbulletin pages (such as inbox or settings) onto my main website. I already have a login function on my main site as well as some custom pages on my main site that require you to be logged in to view them. But, I'd like to include some of the vbulletin pages onto my main site as well, instead of linking to the forum. Here's a screenshot: When a user clicks on "control panel", he/she gets redirected to the usercp on the forum. I want them to stay on the main site (exept when they go to usercp while on the forum ofcourse) |

I want the forum and my site to be 2 seperate things, but you can still edit some vbulletin settings on my main site.
I don't want to have the vbulletin forum inside my main site. |

Its templates, or one template. Different than the whole forum
Take the userlinks out of header then add to your custom page. |

So you mean making a new template, copy the code from the original template and add my main site's header and footer to it?
Ok but how would I find the URL of the new page? I don't quite understand how that works. |

I'm doing something very similar to what you're doing, so after digging deeper into the forums, I found the following thread: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=242607 The guy who posted this thread runs a website that's very nicely integrated with vBulletin. Anyway, the above thread immediately led me to what I believe might be our bullseye: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=1915364 And finally, you'll find a ton of similar posts from where this potential bullseye is located: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=242 After I finish customizing my website, I might write a blog about it if I find the existing instructions too hard for a novice to understand. Good luck! Regards, Jay |
