Ideas on new buttons makeover?

Hello,

I had my site integrated with vB4, http://forums.speedysparrow.com/ - I was wondering if anyone could share some insight to what good buttons would be good to replace the default vB4 graphics ie.

So I was planning on a whole make-over of the buttons to status icons etc.
