We have an active wordpress blog , which people comment, and vbulletin 4.0 forum that is dead. How can i better integrate them. I was thinking at the bottom of each blog entry. somehow whenever someone wants to comment it takes them to the forum so theres a section they can comment there.
Also, any other integration tips would be great. Thanks |

Simple Method:
Disable comments and leave a link to a thread to your forums? Complex Method: Perhaps integrate both WP and VB together using the same login database; making a WP post automates creating a thread in the forum where the comment link leads to the thread. /shrugs |

Thanks, i think i can disable comments, and install a plugin so the post's title gets posted in vbulletin, then have it customized so whenever someone clicks to comment it takes them to a new thread. only issue is having page titles with duplicate titles is something i want to avoid.

Chat with the guy who made the wp -> vb3 bridge, he did something like your asking for me. Worked well too.

That could work too ... the mod I was using worked a lot like the vb cms does though, the wp article showed a link to the forum thread and the comments in wp, were from the forum thread.
