A few questions..
Okay well this question is about...
Is there any way to IP/Host Ban a user from the forums? Recently I've been getting accounts registering using "Username@baha.com" and posting threads like "Buy Viagra!" and stuff like that and they won't stop. I've used the Banned Users Can't Log Out mod and they can still come back. I have human verification on and they get past it. Please if any1 cal help me, I'd be VERY grateful. Also, my other question is about my BBC "Code" and "Quote" On the first post, they run right off the page and interrupt the side of my theme. any way to keep them within the post? |

You can try the StopForumSpam mod..
For IP + Host ban AdminCP > vBulletin Options (Twice) > User Banning Options |

Okay, I have a couple more problems, thank btw for the first answer (:
Problem One: Code:
my BBC "Code" and "Quote" On the first post, they run right off the page and interrupt the side of my theme. any way to keep them within the post? Code:
How do I make it so the 'Banned Advertiser' group gets all their posts deleted once they're put into that group? Code:
How do I make it so you don't have to click the little button to be able to type in quick reply? Code:
I can't understand this thread prefix thing... The HTML markup or anything and I checked the page about it, but it's still unclear about HTML markup and what not. Is there anywhere else that explains it or something that makes it easier to do it? |

Problem 1:
Can't help you - never had this problem, do you have a custom style? Problem 2: There is no way I know of to delete posts of users simply by putting them into a usergroup. I use the "Delete as spam" function when deleting a spam message that gives me the option to delete all their other posts before banning them. Problem 3: Admin CP-> Vbulletin Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options -> The first option controls "Quick Reply" behavior. Choose "Yes, click not required" Problem 4: Not exactly sure what you mean, a thread prefix is just that, a user selctable prefix before a thread as a way to better organize thread topics. As part of the prefix you may use HTML codes to change the font style, color, etc.. to make the prefix stand out. I suppose you could also use an image tag to put a small graphic in it but I wouldn't think it would be useful to do anything more complicated then that. Problem 5- Code:
Please don't post using code boxes for standard text, it's very annoying. ;) |

with regards to the bbcode/style I would confirm this isn't happening in the default style, it probably isn't, and to ask the author of the style for help in their thread or forum or wherever you got it from, there may be an update.

Code:
just because people post the way they want to, means you can tell them its not okay to do that since it annoys one person? |

I said "Please..." - I made no demand. OBVIO0USLY PEOPLE CAN POST HOWEVER THEY WANT, IN ALL CAPS EVEN, IN TINY FONTS, WHATEVER- DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T ASK THEM TO POST like normal so that it's easy to read. If he wants to keep posting in code blocks that's fine too, I would just stop responding.
