Hi, i need a method to let the user choose a postbit if it is on a specific group, maybe an option in his profile
for VB 4.0.3 Thanks |

I think there was a mod to do this, it involved adding a profile field that allowed the users to pick which style they wanted.
Or, you can always add a 2nd style that uses the postbit_ setup that isn't on your main style, then the users could just select the style they want. |

assign your forum to use the postbit_legacy option under vBulletin Options -> Styling
Create a new profile field with a radio button (yes/no) 'Use postbit_legacy (information aligned to left)" Then simply use an if condition in the postbit_legacy template to show the postbit <if condition="$profile[fieldX] == 1"> Postbit_legacy code <else > Postbit code </if> |

Sorry if I'm wrong, but the right condition would be:
<vb:if condition="$user['fieldx'] == 1"> Postbit_legacy code <vb:else /> Postbit code </vb:if> That's right? |

i have used another code, wich seems to work fine, however im not able to find any way to limit that option bassed on a group bassis
