New to 4.0 deff more to learn then 3.8

Can someone tell me how to add the sidebar to 4.0? I went into the admin panel and enabled the side bar. What more needs to be done?

just goto the forums and moderstars in admincp and at the bottem it will say add forum block manager i think, go itno that may say add forum block
