Hello everyone.
I am currently looking for a World of Warcraft (WOW) style for VB 4.03 Publishing Suite, preferably a Cataclysm theme in preparation for the launch of the new expansion to the game. Some what dark in color as there will hopefully be a lot of reading on the site. Link to some possible graphics ideas: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/catac...a/artwork.html, http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/catac...reenshots.html, http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/cataclysm/media/. Hope this helps a bit with the feel/atmosphere I am looking for. If none exist that are "Cataclysm" themed then one for Lich King will do for now and I will try to make one for Cataclysm when it is launched and I can get some more experience with making a theme for the new 4.0 series of VB. Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions. Rowen |

I got a question, there are a couple WoW themes I've seen that where using modified graphics from the original Warcraft site ended up in the mod graveyard with no reason. Can someone tell me if they were shutdown because of copyright issues? I built a new Cataclysm skin for my guild, but the day I uploaded it was the day I found out they might move to wowstead.com. If they do I might as well share the skin so it gets used, as long as I don't get busted.

That's a good question but unlikely anyone reading this thread can answer this- might be a better question to ask in the lounge or site feedback.

KevinL is correct on this matter, besides Blizzard/WoW is pretty friendly on allowing people to use images from there websites and in fact have made fansite kits for people to help them build there fansites. Inside those fansite kits are a lot of images from the official website it self so the theme you are talking about could have been using a fansite kit as well.
The only time they get upset is if you are making an exact duplicate of there site and trying to steal people's account info by pretending to be the official site and having them login with there real account info. This is mostly done in account harvester email campaigns from someone using a spoofed email header pretending to be an official Blizzard email and linking to a harvester duplicate site. So you should be in the clear as long as you are not doing this. ![]() |

ok thanks for the reply's. I haven't heard from my guild whether they are keeping vbulletin or not, but I can work on making it distributable. Only issue is it's built in 3.7 so it might not work for you RowenWindsong. Don't know when I'd upgrade to 4.0 either.
