vb3 version here

This mod adds group permissions to disable some bbcodes:
  • font
  • color
  • size
Reason is simple: prevent regular users to make abusing posts. Mod works everywhere: in posts, blogs, visitor messages, social groups.

It works only in defined areas, and doesn't conflicts with other mods and announces. You can use all tags there without limits.

Disabled tags are removed carefully:
  • If user manually type disabled tags, those are cutted at message save.
  • For old messages, disabled tags are cutted at page parse.

I try to keep this mod minimalistic. Other codes can be disabled globally, or are not abuseable.

If you think, that some codes are missed - plese. provide examples.

Seems, you can disable urls for novice usergroups & filter some by autoreplace setting. That's basic vb functionality

it's a pity you can't disable any bbcode. i guess i will have to hack myself in to make it work for my custom bbcodes

could you give a hint on which lines do we need to alter?

Yes... i remember when i used a hack with bbcodes permissions but with a lot of bugs... and now in this moment doesn't exist a hack to do that for vb4 if am not wrong. Too bad that vbulletin doesn't have permissions to bbcodes by default.

Updated version to 0.4. It reduces SQL queries count.
